Science Camp Night for adults!
We are often asked why science camps are not organized for adults. The secret reason is that, according to legend, strange things start to happen in the woods in Heureka's backyard if adults are allowed to run around at the science camp.
However, we believe that this is just a legend. That's why we decided to organize a one-night science camp for adults as an exception this year.
Don't miss this unique opportunity. There will be interesting science content and a nostalgic summer camp program. And who knows what happens in the forest of Heureka's backyard when the evening gets dark?

Foam party
At camp baptism, music plays and foam flies! Be prepared to get slightly wet and bring a change of clothes and/or a towel if you wish.
Foam parties are organized in cooperation with Bileet.fi.

Batik dyeing
Do you for example have a clean, light t-shirt, socks or canvas bag that needs a little tweaking? This is prossible in the camp night batik dyeing workshop. Bring with you a clean and light fabric suitable for dyeing, dye it, leave it to dry during the event and take it home with you at the end of the evening.
If you leave your own fabric at home, you can also use the fabric bag you received on the camp night for dyeing!

Appeasement of the legend
According to the camp legend, strange things start to happen in the woods of Heureka's backyard if adults are allowed to mess around at the science camps. No need to worry though! In the legend's appeasement workshop, we make sure that the legend doesn't get unleashed. Who among your group dares to go into the forest to appease the legend while the others give instructions from the edge of the forest?

Come build yourself a boat out of balsa and race it to win! Once an hour, we give a prize to the fastest hero of the past hour! There will be great prizes.

A taste of love herbs
Anna Nyman gave a lecture in the auditorium on the topic Love herbs from close-up nature. After this, she moves to the foot of the outdoor path of useful plants to taste love herbs. We recommend you experience both!

Come and test your aiming skills! In this workshop you get to shoot tennis balls at the goal with an air cannon - if you succeed.

Open Mic: Ghost Stories
What would a camp night be without ghost stories or other legends? Come tell your best story to the other campers! Registration for the performance shift takes place on the spot.
Open Mic is organized in cooperation with Helsinki Poetry Connection ry.

At the Science on a Sphere site, you listen to different sounds of the night and guess what they are.

Parittelukammioita, kloonautuvia naaraita, sienten kasvatusta, massaliikkeitä sekä yhteistyötä ja huijaamista - metsähyönteiset elävät omaa vuorovaikutussuhteiltaan rikasta elämää vaikka pääsevät julkisuuteen vain taloudellisia tuhoja aiheuttaessaan. Tässä lyhyessä luennossa tutustumme niiden vähemmälle huomiolle jääneeseen monimuotoiseen sosiaaliseen käyttäytymiseen.

You can reserve a place to the planetarium film through the info screen in front of the planetarium. You can make a reservation by scanning the QR code with your phone. You can book several places at once (max. 10). You will receive a booking confirmation to the e-mail address you provided. When you arrive at the show, show the QR code in the reservation confirmation on your phone to the customer service person at the door of the planetarium. Please arrive at the door of the planetarium in good time, at the latest about 10 minutes before the start of the show.
Science Restaurant
In addition to the restaurant space, the science restaurant has two separate drinking points indoors and two drinking points outside. At the drink station, you will receive a mug, which you can use throughout the event.
When hunger strikes, the Science Restaurant's tasty baked potatoes save the evening. Both vegetarian and meat options are available.
