Materials related to the theme of the artificial intelligence exhibition

The learning material supports Heureka Tekoäly – Me, Myself & AI
- processing of the exhibition's themes. The material consists of instructions for two workshops and supporting tasks. In addition, it contains general background information on machine learning, the ethics of artificial intelligence, and supercomputers.

Skilled artificial intelligence - the workshop is suitable for everyone in elementary school
for grade levels and the Artificial Intelligence Sorter with Arduino workshop for elementary school upper grades and second grade. The workshops are suitable to be done before or after a visit to the exhibition, and as independent entities without a visit to the exhibition.

  • Skilled artificial intelligence 45-90 min.

    Goals of the workshop:

The goal of the program is to get to know the concepts of artificial intelligence and machine learning, and especially image recognition.

    Instructions for using the material:

The duration of the workshop is 45–90 min and it can also be used independently without visiting the exhibition.

    To whom:

The workshop is aimed at lower and upper grades of elementary school.

    Subject and curriculum correspondence:

In elementary school grades 1–6, learning about artificial intelligence and machine learning is related to the broad goals of information and communication technology competence (L5).
