Hands-on & Brains-on
Hands-on science teaching: combining formal and informal science learning


Hands on & Brains on, supported by European Commission, is a project between eight science centres and numerous of other institutes co-operating with them trying to find best practices to combine formal and informal science learning. Heureka is the coordinator of the project and also leading the Work Package 2: Chemistry. The project is for two years and its main target group are science teachers. During the Hands-on & Brains-on Project, Heureka has developed a chemistry program together with Energiakeskus in Tallinn.The program is " Water in a Human Body" (below).
