consumption is part of Heureka’s main
exhibition. This part of the exhibition is
located in the Cylinder Hall. It deals with
waste management for individual households and
ways of recycling waste as raw materials for
new products.

Exhibits

Wasted! exhibit allows visitors to explore the
amount of natural resources needed for the manufacture of each of
the products shown, and how much raw material is wasted if you
throw away an empty can.

dump exhibit shows a comparison of how much waste three
different families produce.

Recycle materials game allows
visitors to test their own waste-sorting skills.
The videos shown in the From rubbish to raw material exhibit demonstrate how different types of waste travel from the household to recycling.

Did you know this? exhibit provides
advice on sorting different types of waste correctly.
