Birthday party at Heureka - have fun with science!
Do you want to organise a birthday party with a difference for your child? Let Heureka’s knowledgeable inspirers and restaurant Café Einstein solve your problem through ingenious and enjoyable activity and a tasty birthday snack. You can book a birthday party easily with the electronic reservation form. All birthday party packages can only be booked for Saturdays and Sundays.
There are two fun packages to choose from:
1.
Birthday Chemistry
(for children aged between 6 and 12, in Finnish, upon agreement also in Swedish and English)
The programme contains colourful and fun chemistry experiments related to the birthday party. The children can try e.g. how substances change colour with change in acidity and how a candle can be put out with an invisible matter. The birthday package also includes a tasty snack in the restaurant and free access to Heureka’s exhibitions.
The lab programme can be booked to start at 12, 14 or 16 and the duration of the programme is approximately 30 min. The lab programme is supervised by an inspirer, who will bring the group to the restaurant afterwards. It is worth reserving some time for the exhibitions after the snack. Maximum group size is 24 persons.

Planetarium Birthday
(for children aged between 7 and 13, in Finnish, through headphones also Swedish, English and Russian)
How would it feel to receive birthday congratulations with fireworks and enjoy a good film? If you choose the Planetarium Birthday package, there will be a fantastic firework display on the screen before the film, including the birthday girl or boy’s name. The birthday package also includes a tasty snack in the restaurant and free access to Heureka’s exhibitions.
The Planetarium Birthday package can be booked for the weekend shows (11, 11.45, 12.30, 13.15, 14, 15, 16) – one group/show. Check the planetarium programme here. Prices 2011
The price for the basic package is 25 €/child (min. 6 children) including Heureka’s exhibition tickets, the birthday snack and the programme (lab or planetarium). One adult free of charge, when following the children to the exhibitions (at the planetarium birthday also to the planetarium). The following adults will pay as normal. The restaurant offers free coffee to one adult.
Reserve at least 2–3 hours for the Heureka birthday. If you want, you can arrive before the arranged programme and spend time in the exhibitions, or you can do that after the programme. The exhibition ticket is valid for the whole day. It includes access to all of Heureka’s exhibitions and programmes that are available to visitors without advance booking. At weekends, there are Basketball Rats, shows at Science Theatre Aga and laboratory programmes in the Children’s Laboratory. For an extra fee, it is also possible to see a planetarium film.
Birthday snacks at the restaurant
A table decorated with streamers and balloons will wait for the group at restaurant Café Einstein. Children will get portions of ice cream (two scoops with sauce and whipped cream), chicken nuggets, meatballs + dip sauce and juice. You can also bring your own sweets to the restaurant. Reservations
You can make a birthday booking easily by using this electronic reservation form. For more information, contact Heureka’s sales service
info@heureka.fi. Please book in good time to make sure you get the time and date that suits you best. The birthday package is paid on arrival at the ticket sales desk. The reservation can be cancelled without charge at least one week before the party, cancellations made after this are liable for a fee of 20 % of the total price. At the birthday party, the parent or accompanying adult will be responsible for the supervision of the group.
