Heureka x Elgood/Partco

Elgood and Heureka have been partners since 2019. Elgood’s online and Partco stores supply electronics components, electrotechnical equipment and supplies for both industrial and educational applications, which makes us a natural partner for Science Centre Heureka.

In Heureka, the partnership with Elgood is particularly noticeable in Idea Workshop and Makerspace, which use products supplied by Elgood in their activities. The partnership provides Heureka’s science camps, science clubs and events with tools and equipment that enable us to produce topical and unique high-quality workshops in cooperation with Heureka’s competent programme developer.

In addition to visibility, the partnership provides us with valuable user experience and feedback, as well as development suggestions for our product range. For Heureka, the partnership offers flexibility and additional opportunities for various new experiments and ideas.

A robot skeleton was built in cooperation for the Children’s Day of Medicine. Sensors from Partco were combined with an anatomical plastic skeleton that was able to identify movement, touch and skin temperature. In another special project, we created a Halloween-themed haunted house where electronics were integrated into a dollhouse. Our latest collaboration resulted in a robotic arm that uses an artificial intelligence model to sort objects according to the teaching material to which it is exposed.

The effective partnership between Heureka and Elgood can best be described as careful co-craftsmanship, in which the results of the work are visible to all exactly as they should be.
