Nordic ESERO’s teacher training 14th February 2019
In this course, you will learn how you can use rockets as a tool to achieve learning objectives within science, physics and technology. The focus is on practical activities and the teachers will build rockets, launch them and do rocket calculations. All the tasks are ready to implement in school.
Teachers – secondary school
• A better understanding of rockets and how to use it in your teaching
• Learn and gain practice in how to design, build and launch paper rockets and model rockets
• Lecture about rocket physics
• Workshop: Building paper rockets and model rockets
• Launching rockets

9.00 – 9.45 Lecture: Introduction
9.45 – 10.30 Lecture: Rockets
10.30 – 11.30 Workshop: Design and build rockets
11.30 – 12.30 Lunch break
12.30 – 14.30 Workshop: Finish rocket building. Mathematical calculations.
14.30 – 15.30 How to implement the tasks in school
15.30 – 16.30 Launch rockets and summary
