This programme takes place at the Science on a Sphere-exhibit, and presents the Northern Lights as a phenomenon caused by the Sun. The Earth-Sun interaction is also explored through physics and history under the guidance of an inspirer. Please note that this is a show guided by a Heureka-inspirer and not a planetarium film.
Science on a Sphere is a projection equipment system developed by the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Information mainly collected by satellites about the oceans, climate, Earth's crust, and space is projected onto the surface of a two-meter diameter sphere. Some of the material is updated daily.
The programme can only be booked in Finnish.
