On Saturday 9.11. at 10-17 Heureka is hosting a Non-fiction
Family Day! At the event, pupils and families can meet authors who have written non-fiction books suitable for children and young people. There will be interesting expert lectures, fun workshops and exciting science shows. The event inspires everyone to dive into the world of non-fiction books and reading.
The event is part of the Non-Fiction Fans project, made possible by the Alfred Kordelin Foundation's Major Cultural Projects. The aim of the project is to increase pupils' interest in reading and their scientific knowledge.

Children under 5 years old are admitted free of charge to Heureka with a carer. Museum cards, Heureka Club cards, cultural passes and free tickets are also accepted.

The Green Thump workshop
In the workshop, children are given the opportunity to plant their own plant to take home. There will be 200 cuttings for the first 200, and the rest will be able to sow their own seed.

Stacks of books
Hang out at the Vantaa City Library's non-fiction bookstore, where there are stacks of carefully selected non-fiction books! There's something for all ages. All books are also available to borrow with your own Helmet library card. If you don't already have your own library card, we can make one for you.
