Robotics! Family Day 27.9.2025
Are there any enthusiastic coders, robot fans or science nerds in your family? Heureka will be hosting a robotics-themed family event on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 10 am to 6 pm, which is just right for you! During the day, we will explore the world of robotics and programming in an exciting way! On this page, you can find out about the day's special program.
The family day is being implemented in collaboration with the Generation AI project .

Tickets
Buy tickets for Saturday 27.9. in advance.Advance from the online store:
- €23 adults (18+)
- €16 children and young people (5–17 years old) + discount groups.
From Heureka:
- €26 adults (18+)
- €19 for children and young people (5–17 years old) + discount groups.
Children under 5 years old free of charge with a guardian. The Museum card, Heureka Club card, Kaiku card and Heureka's free tickets are also valid for admission.
The program
There may be additions and changes to the program.

Planet Enkel episode and workshop
Influencers Ka and Zet, who arrived from outer space, tell the inhabitants of their home planet about human inventions and technology. During the event, we will watch one 12-minute Planet Enkel episode together. There will be facts and galactic-paced madness!
The episode is in Swedish and subtitled in Finnish.
At 2, 3 and 4 pm. On the stage at the event square.
A workshop will also be organized in connection with the Planet Enkel series, which will be open throughout the event.
10 am–6 pm. At the idea workshop.

Tarkkana! Science Show
Tarkkana! show challenges the audience to figure out whether the performer’s astonishing claims could actually be true. The show is in Finnish. Heureka's inspirers always prioritize safety first, followed by surprises and fun. Shows last 15 minutes.
11 am and 1 pm. On the stage at the event square.

Ball maze
Are you a ball maze master? Come and test the ball maze alone or with the whole family.
10 am–6 pm.

Convenient connections
How does that light bulb turn on? This program introduces the concept of circuits and switches in a fun and informative way. The workshop uses the LittleBits building kit.

Robotiikka ja Tiedekasvatus ry & Lego League
Inspiring non-stop activities in a Lego-inspired environment. Come and test your skills in both building and programming.
10 am–6 pm. -
Lego Spikes - amusement park
A Ferris wheel, a roller coaster, or some unique combination? Lego Spikes is an interesting coding and building program that lets you design your own amusement park ride.
10 am–6 pm.

Kitsat Satellite
In the workshop, you will explore the structure of the Kitsat satellite and take a peek inside. Kitsat is a device similar to a real satellite, which includes a camera, sensors and a power source. You will explore how the satellite is assembled and how its different parts are related to its operation in space.

Task in a vacuum
Come and do an interesting task in a vacuum.

Energy from the Science Restaurant
The Science Restaurant offers a hearty lunch, a delicious Science Snack Menu, and a small selection of salty and sweet treats every day.
Lunch 11 am–3 pm.
