Various events for all ages
-
H18 – Party at Heureka (K18)
The very popular H18 evenings are scientific parties for adults organized by Heureka. The focus of the H18 events is science, new experiences and a festive atmosphere. The changing themes offer a diverse program each time, such as workshops, expert presentations and current science content.
The entire science center will be opened for the evening as a drinking area, except for the planetarium and
the auditorium. So you can enjoy the program while sipping your favorite refreshments! All Heureka exhibitions are open during the event.
You can recognize the events by their appearance and the H18 logo. H18 events are normally held about three times a year, and as the name suggests, they are only intended for people over the age of 18.
Heureka has hosted a beer event, a dinosaur night and Halloween for adults. There have also been lectures on the zombie apocalypse and
artificial intelligence. For example, artificial blood has been made in the workshops and we have built electronic musical instruments. At H18 events adults always get to try something completely new. -
NOX - Science evening at Heureka (K18)
You'll leave the NOX-event smarter than you came. During the events we delve into current topics, discuss thought-provoking phenomena, and take a peek behind the scenes of Heureka's exhibitions.
NOX evenings are K18. The events have their own theme, but the structure of the evenings remains the same.
The events will feature two longer lectures, film analysis and NOX drinks. During the evening, visitors will tour two Heureka exhibitions and hear Behind the Scenes facts. The science restaurant will offer an evening meal in the spirit of co-creation, and the evening will culminate in an H-Talk, where short intros about current research and topics will be heard. -
Events for the whole family
Heureka organizes several themed public events for the whole family every year. Heureka has held, among others, Children's Medicine Day, Children's Halloween and Chemistry Night.
The events aimed at family visitors feature a wide range of programs and activities: construction workshops, laboratory programs, performances, competitions, quizzes, music, experiment stations and much more. They can also include, for example, theater performances and fast-paced live performances.
