Winter holiday camps in Vantaa – easily accessible from Helsinki and Espoo

Heureka's winter holiday camps are two-day science camps that will be held: Mon–Tue 16.–17.2.2026 and Thu–Fri 19.–20.2.2026. The camp day program will be held 10am–3pm. The winter holiday camp is easy to get to from different parts of the Helsinki metropolitan area. Heureka can be easily reached using public transport, by car and by bike.

Things to do during winter holiday 2026

Heureka is open during the winter holiday weeks 8 and 9, Mon–Fri 9 am–6 pm and Sat–Sun 10 am–6 pm.

In week 8, after the camp days, children can stay in Heureka's exhibitions to explore and play until closing time, if they wish.

2)        At Heureka's winter holiday camps, curious children can try out various science experiments in the laboratory and workshops. The winter holiday camps are aimed at primary school-aged children born between 2013 and 2018.

3)        Winter holiday science and space camps are two-day camps. This allows children to have a winter holiday that combines both guided experiences and free days.
