Play and Explore

The new exhibition dedicated to play will open on Saturday 20.12.2025. The exhibition consists of sites from the Power of Play exhibition and the Idea Workshop.

Play is natural and essential for human well-being. Playing is about exploring and experimenting, getting to know ourselves and each other.  Through play, we learn to explore the world, and we should maintain this skill throughout our lives.   

You also get a chance to explore your own attitude towards play. What kinds of games inspire me, where do I shine? By exploring and experimenting together, we allow our imagination to create something new. By doing things with our hands, we do ourselves good at the same time. When playing, it is also okay to fail, and we shouldn’t take ourselves too seriously. Playing together also builds and strengthens our sense of community.
