On Mother's Day 10.5.2026, Heureka's Science Restaurant will be serving a tasty and hearty Mother's Day lunch. By enjoying Mother's Day lunch at the Science Restaurant, you can effortlessly combine a festive meal with a fun activity suitable for the whole family. Heureka's exhibitions are fun for both children and adults!

Arriving at Heureka and the Science Restaurant's Mother's Day lunch is easy, even for larger groups from Helsinki, Espoo, and other towns in Southern Finland.

  • Heureka is easily accessible by public transport to Tikkurila station. It's only 15 minutes from the centre of Helsinki!
  • A spacious and free parking lot also allows for easy arrival by car.

    The highly popular Giants of the Ice Age exhibition is open until 30.8.2026. So, on Mother's Day, it's worth coming to experience this exhibition while you still can! In the exhibition, you will encounter almost twenty life-sized animal robots. Come and be amazed by a mammoth, a saber-toothed cat and a giant sloth!

    Galilei Science Park

    In spring and summer, science experiences continue outdoors! Galilei Science Park is open on Mother's Day. The outdoor exhibition features large-scale objects based on music, mathematics and physics phenomena, many of which involve water.

    Tip! Water attractions are fun and especially fun for children on warm days. Packing a change of clothes is a good idea!
