    Our Journey in Space

    Welcome to the space station of the future! In the exhibition you can solve various tasks, try what it would feel like to walk on the moon and take part in a trip to Mars.

    The exhibition is open until 6.1.2027, so now is the time to come and experience this exhibition.

    Planetarium

    At Heureka's planetarium, you can learn about asteroids and forests, and admire beautiful fractal landscapes. The film selection has something for everyone! You can find the films in the program further down this page.

    The age limit for the planetarium is 5 years. We have also set age recommendations for each film. Age recommendations are not restrictions - everyone over 5 years old is welcome to every film!

    Psst! During the autumn holidays, seat reservations can be made on site at Heureka via the QR code displayed on the information screen in front of the planetarium.

Tickets and prices

You can buy Heureka tickets in advance for €3 less from the online store. The Heureka ticket includes all exhibitions, programs and planetarium films.

In advance from the online store (tickets for the current day can be purchased from the online store until Heureka's opening time):

What should I bring with me when visiting Heureka during the Autumn Holidays?

You don't need to bring anything special with you to visit Heureka - all you need is a curious mind!

  • You are allowed to bring your own snacks and can eat them in the snack area upstairs. The snack area is accessed via a spiral staircase or elevator, which can be found next to where the rat feedinf shows are held.
  • It is a good idea to wear comfortable clothes to Heureka so that it is as comfortable as possible to try out the functional sites, such as the Moon Walk site in the Our Journey in Space exhibition .

What ages is Heureka suitable for?

Heureka is suitable for all ages. There is plenty to do for both children and adults, so you can come to Heureka during the autumn holidays with the whole family or just adults. Here are a few age recommendations and restrictions that are good to know before visiting:

Toilets and childcare facilities

  • The childcare facilities is located in the entrance hall behind the coat racks. The toilets are also located in the same area.
  • Toilets are also available in the corridor behind the spiral staircase next to where the rat feeding shows are held and in the snack area upstairs. The snack area is accessible via the spiral staircase or by elevator.

Dining and shopping

  • The Science Restaurant offers a hearty lunch, a delicious Science Snack Menu, and smaller savory and sweet snacks every day.
  • Heureka Shop is located in the lobby. You will find the best science gifts and souvenirs from your visit to Heureka.

Accessibility

  • Quick tips for visiting Heureka during the autumn holidays

    1) In week 42 we are open Mon–Fri 9 am–6 pm and Sat–Sun 10 am–6 pm. You can find our opening hours for the other weeks, as well as arrival instructions and prices our plan your visit page


    2) When you get hungry, you'll find something to for everyone to eat at the Science Restaurant - everything from a hearty lunch to coffee and biscuits! Heureka also has facilities for eating your own snacks.

    3) There are free storage lockers in the lobby, so you can enjoy your day without backpacks and autumn outerwear. It is also possible to leave larger bags at customer service during your visit.

    Heureka organizes two-day science and space camps for curious children in week 42. The camps are perfect for elementary school children who are hungry for knowledge and are enthusiastic about science experiments. Note! The camps are in Finnish. Ticket sales starts 14.9. at 10 am.
