The Giants of the Ice Age exhibition opened in February 2025 and has been a huge success over the past year. The exhibition features nearly 20 life-size animal robots - including a mammoth and a saber-toothed cat!

The exhibition Different Eyes is a celebration of Braille 200 years. The exhibition Fibrations consists of the final projects of students from the interdisciplinary course "Crystal Flowers in Halls of Mirrors: Mathematics Meets Art and Architecture" at Aalto University. Both exhibitions are open until January 6, 2026.

Two Centuries of Braille anniversary exhibition. We live in a world that emphasises visual information – but what if our eyes cannot see? The exhibition was curated in collaboration with the Finnish Federation of the Visually Impaired.

Quick tips for visiting Heureka during the autumn holidays
1) In week 42 we are open Mon–Fri 9 am–6 pm and Sat–Sun 10 am–6 pm. You can find our opening hours for the other weeks, as well as arrival instructions and prices our information page

2) When you get hungry, you'll find something to for everyone to eat at the Science Restaurant - everything from a hearty lunch to coffee and biscuits! Heureka also has facilities for eating your own snacks.

3) There are free storage lockers in the lobby, so you can enjoy your day without backpacks and autumn outerwear. It is also possible to leave larger bags at customer service during your visit.

Heureka's autumn holiday camps 2025

Heureka organizes two-day science and space camps for curious children in week 42. The camps are perfect for elementary school children who are hungry for knowledge and are enthusiastic about science experiments. Note! The camps are in Finnish. Tickets are on sale until 3 pm on 8.10.2025.
H18: Halloween 31.10.2025

Heureka's extremely popular H18: Halloween science event takes place on Friday, October 31st from 7 pm to midnight. In honor of the brand new water exhibition, Halloween will be celebrated with a sewer theme.
Children's Halloween 1.11.2025

On Saturday 1.11.2025 10 am – 6 pm, we will be hosting a Halloween event for the whole family. A day full of fun Halloween program with a sewer theme in honor of the opening of the brand new water exhibition.
Father's Day 2025

How would it sound to celebrate Father's Day 2025 at the heart of science? Heureka's interactive exhibitions are fun for all ages. The Science Restaurant offers a hearty and tasty Father's Day lunch!
The Planetarium is closed

We will open a fully renovated and state-of-the-art Planetarium in late 2025.

Note! The discount does not apply to Thursday evenings during summer season 23.6.–10.8., 16.10. and 25.12. On Thursdays from 15:00–20:00, all entrance tickets are 10 €/each. Children under 5 years of age can enter Heureka free of charge accompanied by a guardian.
