    Autumn brings cooler evenings, colorful leaves, and new beginnings – and of course, a trip to Heureka! The Heureka Science Centre offers interesting and experiential exhibitions, planetarium films and programmes for all ages. In autumn, Heureka also hosts lots of events for families and adults alike. In addition, something new and exciting is coming to the exhibition selection in early October.

Giants of the Ice Age is open until August 30th

Now is your last chance to experience the highly popular Giants of the Ice Age exhibition. The mammoth, saber-toothed cat, and their companions bid farewell to Heureka on August 30th.

In the exhibition, you will encounter animals from the last ice age and get to try out cave painting, among other things. The exhibition is suitable for all ages!

Tickets and prices

You can buy Heureka tickets in advance for €3 less from the online store. The Heureka ticket includes all exhibitions, programs and planetarium films.

In advance from the online store (tickets for the current day can be purchased from the online store until Heureka's opening time and then on site):

  • €23/adult (over 18 years old)
  • €16/children + youth (5–17 years)
  • €16/students, unemployed, pensioners and conscripts*
  • €0/children under 5 years old.
  • €0/ Museum Card / Kaiku card


On-site (ticket sales on-site end one hour before Heureka closing time):

What ages is Heureka suitable for?

Heureka is suitable for all ages. There is plenty to do for both children and adults, so you can visit Heureka with the whole family or just among adults. Here are a few age recommendations and restrictions that are good to know before visiting:

Toilets and childcare facilities

  • The childcare facilities is located in the entrance hall behind the coat racks. The toilets are also located in the same area.
  • Toilets are also available in the corridor behind the spiral staircase next to the Giants of the Ice Age exhibition and in the snack area upstairs. The snack area is accessible via the spiral staircase or by elevator.

Dining and shopping

  • The Science Restaurant offers a hearty lunch, a delicious Science Snack Menu, and smaller savory and sweet snacks every day.
  • Heureka Shop is located in the lobby. You will find the best science gifts and souvenirs from your visit to Heureka.

  • Children's Medicine Day 22.8.

    On Saturday 22.8.2026 at 10am–6pm we're hosting the beloved Children's Medicine Day, where both children and adults can step into the shoes of a doctor or researcher.

    On Friday, August 28, 2026, from 6–11 PM, an adult science evening will be held with the theme of food and nutrition. Secure your place by purchasing or booking tickets in advance!

    Science Park Galilei is open until September 27th

    Science Park Galilei admission is included in the price of a Heureka ticket during the summer season, until September 27th.

    Tip! Many of the park's attractions involve water. Packing a change of clothes is a good idea so children can enjoy the water-themed science exhibits without worry.
